I have this little journal that I have been using to jot down miscellaneous notes, grocery and to-do lists. On every lined page there is a verse from the bible. To be honest most of the time I skim by the verse and I go straight to the task at hand (whatever that may be). Today a ripped a page out of the book to make tomorrow’s to-do and I just so happened to read the verse.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3
I know this is something we hear often, but today this message really struck me. As I prepare for my trip which is approaching in less then two months, I need to keep reminding myself that this trip is for God. Keeping this “mindset” is important to the success of the trip.
