This is a verse that God has shared with me recently:
Ecclesiastes 7:13,14
“Consider what God has done:
who can straighten
what he has made crooked?
When times are good, be happy;
but when times are bad consider;
God has made one
as well as the other.
Therefore a man cannot discover
anything about his future.”
From this verse, I made a prayer:
God only you can straighten me, fix me; and only you can break me. Lord thank you for the good, because I know the good happens as a blessing. I know that you let the trials in my life happen, not to harm, but to help. So I thank you for my trials as well, because they are a blessing in itself. It is a blessing, because I have you, and you are my strenth. Trials happen so that I can only rely on you when times are hard. I know now without trials, I wouldn’t learn how to rely on you. So thank you for teaching me how much I truly need you. It is a blessing to know that I cannot do it all on my own.
